Barbara Clements
|
|
Barbara has over 25 years in corporate and technology management gained in a variety of business environments, including pharmaceutical, manufacturing, food technology, educational management and information development.
At SDI, Barbara develops the long range business plans for global initiatives, manages the technology programs necessary for developing new business capabilities, oversees the administration and financial operations and spearheads the development of SDI's proprietary technologies. Additionally, she manages the Executive Committee and has been instrumental in advancing the technology framework to support the globalization of the business.
A 1994 Summa Cum Laude graduate of Long Island University with a Masters in Educational Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Stetson University, Barbara has held a variety of positions from Laboratory Director for a Becton Dickinson company and President of Valley Consulting Services to President of Demarest Board of Education Teacher's Union while serving as a middle school educator. As an educator, Barbara established computer science programs for the advancement of collaborative education between disparate disciplines such as science, history and language arts.

Joseph J. Clements

Joe Clements founded SDI in 1978 and has provided the vision and guidance necessary to move SDI solidly into a leadership role in the global arena of product support, information development, training, integrated logistics support and knowledge-based solutions that add significant value to SDI's commercial and government client goals and objectives.
Starting with his training in the US Army and his experiences in business working for companies like Xerox, ITT, Unilever and Singer, Joe has gained continuing insight into the ways in which knowledge is created, managed and consumed by leading organizations and the value of effective communication of corporate and product knowledge in the marketplace. As a systems consultant, Joe has also worked with large corporate clients undergoing fundamental business transformations such as AT&T, Exxon, NY Telephone, and IBM. As a member of consulting teams, he has focused his client work on issues such as development of clear corporate plans and strategies, creation of globally consumed technical and business information, creation of employee and customer knowledge support systems, and the design and development of tools and systems that support the creation and management of content and knowledge.
As our most senior executive, Joe is responsible for strategic development and expansion of SDI's business into new and existing clients and into new markets around the globe. As President of SDI's Global Solutions division, he has worked recently on establishing SDI service capabilities in Europe and India to support the needs of a global client base and to open new business development opportunities in these locations.

Brian O'Hare
|
|
Mr. O'Hare, a long standing member of SDI, has been working in the IT field at various levels for over 15 years. After getting his start in the U.S. Military, Mr. O'Hare gained a number of certifications from Cisco, Microsoft and other companies along with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Over the years he has worked as a Network Engineer, Webmaster, Trainer and finally settled into Management as the CIO for SDI.
Mr. O'Hare currently coordinates all aspects of Information Technology and Information Assurance from our collocation facility in our Mid-America Office. Spending much of his time on the road ensuring all SDI offices are attended to and new offices are prepared anytime the company looks to expand.
While not related to the company's core business, Mr. O'Hare's off duty activities as a Volunteer Firefighter and EMT have come in handy with regards to our Continuity of Operations and Emergency Management divisions of the company. His hands on experience in the field allowed us a unique perspective to build on.

John Piantedosi
|

John established SDI's New England operation in 2000. Under his leadership, our New England staff provides performance consulting solutions for SDI Global Solutions clients. John is a management executive with experience in operations, business development, performance consulting, and staffing.
Educated at Boston College with a BA in Mathematics and Education, John began his career as a mathematics and computer science teacher. John later joined Digital Equipment Corporation designing and leading executive development programs for clients and employees. This was followed by senior management roles at notable technology companies including Digital, Compaq, and SYKES in which John successfully led the business operations of large performance consulting practices.

Tamas Rasch

Mr. Rasch has been in the technical communication business since 2000. He is responsible for operations and client project delivery in our North Carolina and Budapest offices. He has been with the company for a number of years and besides operations roles contributed to redefining and developing strategy, services, and development models, with focus on off-shore capabilities.
Prior to his tenure at SDI, Tamas worked at Semcon Informatic as VP of international business development and at Kudos Information, where he held various Managing Director positions leading to Group CEO post. His most noted accomplishments were creating clear customer focused strategies that resulted in stellar client satisfaction and rapid revenue growth. Tamas attended school and gained a B.S. In International Business at Western International in Phoenix, Arizona.

Soma Gidugu
|
|
Soma Gidugu has more than 20 years of experience in designing and deploying advanced software systems for major organizations such as Lucent Technologies, Bankers Trust, United Media, and Coopers & Lybrand. Before joining SDI, Soma was the visionary of two state-of-the-art learning and development software initiatives currently being readied for global deployment over the Internet. He holds a Masters degree in Computer Science.
