SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ JULY 21, 2003: “Continuity Now!” is the first comprehensive web application that takes Continuity of Operations Planning from just a plan . . to a live and dynamic system, with real-time monitoring, and contextually-based actions and notification.

SDI will be demonstrating Continuity Now! along with AWARE Now! (an implementation of Continuity Now!) developed specifically for the watch and response environment supporting Homeland Security and Defense.

SDI offers an advanced technology platform for Process and Knowledge Integration Across Diverse Systems that incorporates a “no coding required” method of web application development and integration, enabling us to bridge the gap between information and action with value-added solutions, such as:

1. Continuity Now! . . . an automated system for converting Continuity of Operation (COOP) and Continuity of Government (COG) plans into live, actionable plans that monitor and respond to information, events and situations providing participants with collaborative situational awareness and decision support,
2. Know Now! . . . a complete system for ontology-driven, knowledge categorization and semantic enhancement of structured and unstructured information sources that work together with intelligent, automated processes to “discover” new facts and notify relevant users and/or initiate other automated processes,
3. Learn Now! . . . an advanced, distributed e-learning environment that supports highly reusable, maintainable e-learning objects and their delivery in e-learning applications across the web as well as their use in other automated processes (logistics support, shipboard repair and replacement, etc.).
