Now, SDI Government Solutions’ Interactive Media Center of Excellence offers updated computer models, online training exercises and other interactive products to support Warfighters in the Information Age.

Our Interactive Media Team was one of the first in the industry to use cutting-edge 3D modeling and simulation tools to create some of the most realistic training scenarios available. To date, the team has analyzed, designed and developed over 150 SCORM 2004-compliant Computer-Based Training (CBT) products and S1000D Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs). Our team was also among the first to successfully integrate a SCORM 2004 and S1000D IETM into a seamless dual-platform product. These tools prepare the Warfighter for combat experiences without posing any unnecessary risks to his or her safety.

Computer-Based Training (CBT) Modules

Using advanced animation and augmented reality tools, our team implements the latest instructional strategies to provide a learning experience that is both engaging and highly realistic. The engaging approach with models and simulations used in these situational training exercises assists in boosting memorization and increasing awareness during actual combat. Our CBTs boast:

• Engaging 3D graphics, animations and customized video and audio elements which create an immersive environment
• Interactive learning agents known as avatars that walk a learner through the training exercise while adapting to his or her learning abilities
• Learning assessments that test the tactical knowledge learned in each individual module and acknowledge successes while suggesting areas for improvement

• Rich content that encourages active interaction with the user and boosts knowledge retention up to 90%

Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs)
