Active Directory Integration

Active Directory Groups are defined by your network administrator. You can identify network defined groups to Author-it by using Author-it Administrator to map Author-it groups to Active Directory groups.

For existing Author-it users, you must map each existing user to a user definition in Active Directory.

Author-it automatically creates an Author-it user definition when a user defined in an Active Directory Group recognized by Author-it accesses Author-it.

When network administrator moves a person to a different group, Author-it group definitions are automatically updated.

Author-it users who are recognized by Active Directory can log into an Author-it library as a trusted user (without additional password).
